History

Our family business began in 1998, in a joinery workshop next to our family home in Cork. We began working together with local self-builders, helping them to create their new home. This quickly turned into working closely with local builders and developers.

Throughout the last few years, there have been a lot of changes in the economy and construction standards. We have always adapted to meet these necessary changes. We are lean, agile, quality driven and service focused in all aspects of our business.

Our journey has led us to where we are today, recognised leading technical experts in the construction industry, experienced craftsmen, and advanced in the use of automated manufacturing methods.

I worked very closely with Eco Timber Systems in the design and construction of my own house which was completed in 2016. They were involved very early in the design process with the Architect, Engineer and the builder and provided quality drawings and details which made the whole process easier and streamlined. We ordered the windows and doors early based on the Eco fabrication drawings and they were fitted the week following the timber frame erection, thus giving a weather tight building that quickly developed into our new home. Using timber frame gave us much more flexibility with the design including creating voids, vaulted ceilings and internal glass bridges. Eco helped in achieving all these details and we now live in a bright and warm passive house. I have no hesitation in recommending Eco which is down to the quality of their product and how easy they are to work with.
